The KGE Group consists of five companies: Kawasaki Geological Engineering Co., Ltd., Union Consultant Inc., Meiou Soil Survey Design Ltd. Bunkazai Chosa Consultant Co., Ltd., and OHYA UNDERGROUND ENERGY Co., Ltd.
Kawasaki Geological Engineering Co., Ltd., the core company of the Group, provides geotechnical investigation, surveying, design, testing, and analytical services across a wide range of fields, including infrastructure development, environmental management, disaster prevention, and resource and energy development.
Union Consultant Inc. provides geological investigation, surveying, and design services in Hokkaido. Meiou Soil Survey Design Ltd. provides soil investigation, surveying, and design services in Okinawa.
Bunkazai Chosa Consultant Co., Ltd. specializes in cultural property investigations, particularly microfossil analysis such as pollen. OHYA UNDERGROUND ENERGY Co., Ltd. is engaged in the conservation of former Oya stone quarries and provides thermal energy using groundwater, while also undertaking underground space development projects commissioned by Kawasaki Geological Engineering Co., Ltd.

With a team of highly skilled engineers, the company has expanded its services to include environmental investigations and civil engineering design.

Meiou Soil Survey Design Ltd.
Since its establishment in 1996, Meiou Soil Survey Design Ltd. initially focused on soil testing as its core business. To support business expansion, the company has steadily expanded its operations by establishing a geotechnical investigation department in 1998, a surveying department in 2002, a civil engineering design department in 2004, and a magnetic survey department in 2017.

Bunkazai Chosa Consultant Co., Ltd.
Bunkazai Chosa Consultant Co., Ltd. specializes in the investigation, preservation, and utilization of cultural properties with historical and cultural significance across Japan. Its core expertise includes paleoenvironmental reconstruction through microfossil analysis, radiometric dating, sediment structure observation, and geological sampling.

OHYA UNDERGROUND ENERGY Co., Ltd.
OHYA UNDERGROUND ENERGY Co., Ltd. focuses on utilizing groundwater stored in the vast underground spaces of former Oya stone quarries in Utsunomiya as a source of thermal energy. Through its thermal energy supply business, the company contributes to reducing environmental impact and promoting regional development, including applications such as summer strawberry cultivation.

This is an industry–academia research group established to promote the SAAM system and to conduct studies, make proposals, and carry out research and development for the proper maintenance and management of ground anchors.

This consortium aims to ensure the quality of residual tensile force in ground anchors and promote the wider adoption of VIBRES, a vibration-based measurement technology, while advancing maintenance practices and contributing to society.

This consortium was established to promote PDC, a more economical and efficient method for assessing soil liquefaction potential than conventional methods.

Earth Scanning Association
This association is a membership-based organization consisting of ten companies. It promotes the development and widespread adoption of visualization technologies for geotechnical investigations, with the goal of contributing to a safer and more secure society.

shamen-net Association
This association aims to contribute to society through the technical advancement and promotion of shamen-net, a next-generation monitoring service that delivers high-quality monitoring information via the Internet based on displacement data measured using GPS/GNSS.

Technical Association for Electric Cone Penetration Test
This association aims to further promote the use of CPT and contribute to the sound development of civil engineering and construction projects through the application of investigation technologies combining the piezocone penetration test (CPTU) with other direct sensing methods, as well as through the development of new technologies.
